I believe in angels and found your poem to be a lovely affirmation to support that belief. I do feel there was an overuse of commas, but that could just be me. Nice work.

Thank you for your positive feedback. I'll look again at the punctuation.

I like the presentation of rhyming couplets--
I've always had an open mind about angels and spirits --
as who are we to say they are not all around us
One little typing error, Mary -
So if the questions about [angles] ANGELS are ever asked of you
.
Good luck with the contest, my friend.

This is a nice inspirational poem for children about angels. I think you did nicely with the rhyme especially. Also, the rhythm works quite well, too. Best wishes in the contest. Drew

This is well done and is very good at helping a child understand. It holds information and has spiritual teaching. THe rhymes are good and the rhythm makes it easier to understand.
Great job!

I think literature is a good teaching tool. Thank you for noticing instructional value.

I remember years ago when I taught Sunday school classes I was asked, "Do angels exist?" I wish I had your poem then as my answer was not nearly as clear or as well-put. I especially like how you define the role of angels in stanza 3, then go on to clarify/illustrate in the next three stanzas. Nicely done!

I think you did a fantastic job of doing what this contest calls for, which is writing a poem for children. Wonderful, informative work.
