I loved the playful sing-song. I see a fetus in the womb. The image of the dolphin swimming in her universe is imprinted on my mind, and when I look up, I will always remember.

It is okay to get a little wacky sometimes. We all saw shapes in the contours of the moon, and a dolphin is a majestic creature. We could learn a thing or two.

This poem sounds like the ramblings of a serious pot head. There is no metaphor or simile it is just literally a dolphin in the moon. Not the worst poem by far but the whole thing ends with the only actual rhyme in the entire poem? Weird

Elaine,
I love your dreamy, dolphin on the moon, winter wonder of a poem!
I enjoyed your rhyme within it and imagery is excellent....as well as
wonder filled mood.
Your ending was really great:
"a dolphin so free
she swims in a galaxy"

Your poem flows well and is a pleasant read. I never heard anyone talk about a dolphin in the moon before. What made you come up with that?

Interesting idea. There's supposed to be a man in the moon. I guess there can be a dolphin. I do enjoy the dolphins when I see them free in the ocean. Your rhyme scheme works well. Yes, poetry can take many different forms and serve many different ideas. Your poem is cute. Thanks for sharing.

Anything that gets me thinking about water, dolphins and swimming (despite this cold winter weather) is good in my books, mermaid. :) I enjoyed this brief winter's reprieve. You created some relaxing imagery for this reader. Thank you!

Such a lovely free verse, and such an original thought/topic to travel away from all the day's stresses and into a tranquil marine world. I love all feelings you packed into your poem: mystery, enchantment, happiness, freedom.
Excellent!

Fantastic creation here. I enjoyed the magical story you had described in your poem. Your imagination is working very hard. I love the way you play with the words here. I love this line:
She swims in a galaxy
A very wide place to swim..Thanks for sharing.

I loved your poem and can't wait to see the Dolphin in the full moon. I know we always were told that it was made of cheese and also that we could see the man's face in the moon. Now we have had a man on the moon. How crazy is that.
