Good chapter, Barbara. I'm sure Soni will soon soften up toward Jim.

They followed the tracks,(no comma) Goliath, Mack, and the horses had made.

Luckily(,) only one man saw you.

The other's (others) thought he was crazy.

Then a bullet flew over my head(,) killing a man

"Saluting me? What for?"
(something missing here?)
over his shoulder asked, "When are those dogs bringing our horses? I can't wait to get out of here." He continued walking.

Well, Jim's still got some explaining to do. Could he also explain to me why he did that? I can't imagine a trained DEA agent being so careless. I did spot one grammatical issue as well:

"over his shoulder asked, "When are those dogs bringing our horses? I can't wait to get out of here." -- I feel like the first half of the sentence is missing.

I will recheck that sentence, but as I reread it just now, I didn't see anything wrong with it. If more people mention it, I will definitely change it. Also men do stupid things over a pretty face. Thank you for the review. Are these these reason for the four?

Looks as if the bear thing done it again. Jim is a lucky guy and I think he is coming to know it. Another good chapter. I was lost with the Mexican language but survived.

Good old Kukuk, saved Jim yet again, in his transforming bear persona. I love the stubborn dog fights between Soni and Jim, really in love, but will seemingly keep squabbling until somebody takes the initiative and seal the obvious bond between them, how will find the dogs and horses again? This is an interesting chapter to read, but it has left me confused. Jim's behaviour was strange, and Soni seems to be overreacting to the point of rudeness. I'm not sure who was shot. I am surprised that the man who saw Jim was not believed by his friends. This one has left me a bit confused. I'll have to read more to see what pans out.

I'm sorry. I think they reason they didn't believe him is because they didn't see him. The man who was shot was the same man who had captured Jim and Soni and Jim let him go. Thank you for the kind review.
