A tribute here to the 'symmetrical beauty 'that is being in love - conveying in effective imagery the harmony that true love can bring

Very nice 15 word love poem. And it is so true. That is the way love is. Two have to feel the same to make it work. Such as marriage...two become as one. I loved your cute little poem.

Two swans together are a picture of romance at its best. There gracious movements seems like a love dance. An excellent choice of artwork to compliment your work.

Probably the best definition of true love. I have ever heard. No selfishness here. Just giving. The picture couldn't be a better illustration of the poem. Hard to tell which came first, the picture or the poem.

Thanks for the five stars and review. I knew it had to be 5-7-5 and it was just thinking of a subject and one thing led to another. After choosing this picture, I thought of something symmetrical- a balance love, two people agreeing with one another.
One could think of a butterfly or a picture I once saw of a glass (I think) and on each side was a face.

Lovely little love poem, haven't tried this yet, looks awfully hard in fifteen words, but I think you did extremely well! Blessings...

Thanks for the five stars and review. I think a haiku was about traditionally Japanese and about nature, season ?. I know that the last line sums up the other two.
reply by Irish Rain on 12-Aug-2016
the form is Japanese...the poem is usually about nature....you are most welcome!

I think you've written a lovely poem and chosen the perfect picture to go with it. I like the idea of comparing being in love to a symmetrical beauty. Those swans and their shadows are indeed a good example.

This is such a beautiful poem, with just a few words you said so much. The poem is very clever and creative. You made the most of the 15 word criteria. Best of luck in the contest.

Hi the simplicity here is very attractive and there is truth although this truth can be reversible. Love is not always symetrical, reciprocrating. Sometimes love is tainted with selfishness and the symmetry is lost.
May be and I am only thinking.no harm meant...if only the first line Being trueLy in love..

Thank you for your five stars and review. I think previous to that I came across something about people being attracted to each other and that is how I wrote not "after saying I do." No harm it done, we are here to comment on each others work. That is what
    reviewing is all about.
