A poignant remembrance Sandra.
My heart goes out to you - that this is the burden
you carry. . . this loss of one so dearly loved.
A beautifully written eulogy, of sorts.

Writing feelings down in poetry, is the only way I can get them out. Thank you so much, my friend, for you lovely, and very kind review. :) Sandra xx

This is a beautiful love poem Sandra. It should be in the Valentine Contest. The picture is lovely and I love the words you saw in the image. This should be a great contender. Good luck. xxx Nancy

Thank you, Nancy, for your lovely review. Are you writing one for this picture? I hope so. It's not a contest, just writing what the picture does for you. I'm glad you like mine!! Big hug, xxx Sandra

Oh! I thought it was. No I can't get my machine to open the pictures. I can't seem to access any new pictures anymore. That will change later. This computer is haunted and the ghost rules my day! HAHAHA. I does appear to be supernatural the things it does. xxx

Oh, that is a shame, you would have written a lovely sonnet for it. I wonder why yours won't bring up the pictures, it does sound very spooky! xx

Where do you get the picture for this? I tried it JaxFranklins way. Couldn't do that.

I'll e-mail it to you. I'll do it now so let me know if you get it. xxx

This is a lovely poem, Sandra. I am sure it is based on some truth. To me, it tells a story of a love that was real and then of a loss, possibly death. The love is still there, just not the person.
I'm out of 6s.

I remember vividly what it was like the morning I was told my late husband was going to die. Feelings stay with you forever, so yes, you are right, it is sort of based on truth. Thank you, Nicole, for this great review. You are always giving me 6s, my friend, which I thank you for, but your words mean just as much to me. :) Sandra. xxx

I absolutely love this artwork chosen for you guys. I'm so anxious to read more of these. It has to project love and I do so love love poetry. Very nicely done, so soft and smooth. There is just one line I stumble on
I look towards the orb to watch it sink, (I think I would say I look into instead of towards, I think that word is throwing this sentence off of meter.)

Sandra - this is beautifully composed, perfect metre and abab rhyme. I was surprised to see it is a picture challenge, it sounds so convincingly real, Your iambic pentameter is perfect. 'The sun sets low and turns the ocean pink' - I love that line. It reminds me of when we had a yacht and when I first saw the water change colour at sunset when we were out at sea I was amazed. Sometimes bright orange-gold depending on the sunset. I think you must have seen it too. Lovely poem. Warm regards Dorothy xxx

How lovely to have had a yacht, I bet it was so romantic in the sunset on the water. I have seen such as those, but only from the shore. If I win the lottery, I'll buy one and pick you up and we can watch another one! Thanks my friend, for this lovely review, and for the shiny 6 stars. I really am truly pleased you liked this one. :) Sandra xxx

You have done a wonderful job capturing the colors and emotion of the picture in poetic words. A very good poem for the picture this challenge.

I enjoyed your challenge poem. You did a great job with the artwork. Good job with the rhyme and smooth flow of lines. You leave the reader wondering what he told her. [I believe I have an idea]. Thanks for sharing a thoughtful poem. Good job.

Thank you so much, my friend, for your lovely review. I am so sorry it has caused you pain, though, poetry does that a lot, we tend to write what we feel. Thank you, again. :) Sandra. xxx
