Bravo, Excellent. The rhythm is excellent. There are no hick-up. All of the words fit that is they are well chosen and each line leads to the next until the end. The end especially is very good. The writer could be writing about the joy of rain on herself. It is not totally unexpected but it is a little twist that makes the poem quite delightful that it is the earth that can finally drink. It is also short and to the point, no extra unneeded adjectives, a fault, I think we all tend to have.
Again, Excellent.

Poet vividly describes how state looking for rain for parched land. California hadn't had rain in a while. Flowing fluent lines represent speak of downpours. liberty justice
