I never know what to expect from you. I recall being recently close to tears for the beauty of your words. Now I am in tears from laughing. Is this good? I don`t know. But it is damn funny. What next? I guess I will have to wait and see. I will.

This is so clever, Mikey. I love it. The interchange between the two 'old birds' is so cleverly written.. I could read that stuff all day, and I love the way you created the interchangeable metaphor, Giddy

Llike that quote: Love is the invisible silken thread
connecting
two souls in flight
together
Yes, when two souls come together they are one. Good slang usage. Yep, your vocabulary is soaring, words i would never dream of saying... overall, good presentation including that Fanart Review image. BOO

So, let me get my pencil and take notes. The Irish throw down their poetry? Well that is a good thing to know being Irish myself.

HAHA. Love the photo. Looks like Buddy below has a bird's eye view of what's important to his mind. Providing of course that he's of the male persuasion.

Eagles will hit the ground and kill themselves in the act, however odd that is.

Aw, what a sweet ending. The old bird saved him after all. *sigh* that is true love.

This is a terrific poem, full of blarney so best wishes to you in the free form love contest.

Gloria

Aye, he's male alright. Yep, a man can get distracted if'n he's payin' proper attention to his lady. If we die, we die. Was our lady pleasured, that's all that really matters. :))
I'm pleased you enjoyed. I dedicate my inevitable victory to you. mikey

If this is a reply to Mark Fowler's love poem it's a damn good one. Even if it is probably far too cynical for the judges of this contest. Never mind I am sure we are ultimately judged by the laughs we raise not by the angels we've cuddled. So there's hope for you and me yet.

There's always hope and short of that there's always whiskey!! For the wise, there's both. Or is that the foolish? Either way, mikey

OMG, Michael. Well done! Once I stop laughing I might just be able to breathe again!

Naw. They could have landed gently and lived. I'm going with that version. He was a naughty old bird though. But after thirty years together she shouldn't begrudge him a little peak, yes?
    Glad you enjoyed, mikey
