-I see that this writing takes on a political and humanistic approach to life's endurance with an adversary who is ruthless and unpredictable.
-Your 2/4/2 syllabic format is written with blood red curdling letters placed on a black background to give it a prolific tone to express your writing even further.

A little room for contemplation of your last line as it has a bit of amgiuity to it. That only triggers contemplation. The message is clear. What else can be done? I think this is a possible winner! NG

"Bukhari" 52:220...Allah's apostle said: "I have been made victorious with terror" Quite a difference between " turn the other cheek". striking another in the cheek was considered an insult back in the day...what that really means...is if someone insults you...brush it off.
However...insult to point of decapitating our right to life. Forces the hand of God. I'm afraid some evil can only be overcome when met with same intensity. Love Michael

ISIS are like all these organisations, even when the head is but off, they still go on. Just a bruised cheek for them.
I think that denouement line is exceptionally clever and I've thought on this for a little while since you posted. In addition to what I stated above, the bruised cheek could be an indictment of foreign policy, too long have we looked the other way and been hit time and time again. not just by ISIS but with other groups too.
Of course it could just be literal as the head bounces of the ground ... but I severely doubt it.
I think this is very clever.
