Nice poem. I guess I have a little bit of discomfort with it because you sometimes fill out lines with words that seem maybe extra -- I think that's to fulfill your form.

as in:

(Or) cuddly stuffed bears. -- I don't see "or" here as strictly necessary.

But aside from that minor complaint a well done poem.

I liked this. It reads like a valentine. This part is very nice:
So, on this day, the pink heart holds dear.
And not just for today, but for each day of the year.

this is a beautiful piece of poetry dear sue! i especially loved the last line! we definitely should honor our relationships daily. it's like giving water to a flower so it may survive. and we should'nt just survive, we should flourish!

I do read your writing and enjoy it, I'm just buried in real life junk and haven't the time to be a good fan.
I LOVE this. A beautiful mix of form here that flows beautifully. So smooth and the great craft makes the content fly off the page. I so agree. Nothing like love. Happy New Year. mikey

Nice love poem for the contest. Attractive presentation but the font was hard to read, I would make it bigger and bold. Excellent rhyme. Good job!

Beautiful poem and well said. There is no point in love for only one day in a year. Love should be a year round celebration. Good luck with the contest.

You are truly a messenger of love in this poem, the lines explored the theme on love effectively. It is full of sweetness that young teeners will resonate with this poem and its message. Thanks for sharing.

What a nice thought this is. If only we could be as attentive on other days of the year! Christmas, too, brings out the best of us, but all too briefly. As you suggest, true happiness needs nurturing 365 days of the year.
