Hi Bill,

I enjoyed this one scene script. A good play on words and miscommunication. Very humorous and well written.

All the best

Ba-da-boom!

You would have quite the vaudville act here if you could bring to life the characters of Ned and Pons. As a team, Pons defines patience while Ned is just a tic away from being certifiably imbicilic, though lovable.

I'll take them through a few more locales to see if they hold up. Thanks for reviewing, Jay. Bill

ha, ha, this is such a riot. Probably, because I think I know your cousin, or someone very like him. I can actually see this happening. Thanks for the great laugh. This a well written piece that was an enjoyable read.

Heh-heh... poor Pons. With a friend like Ned at your side, one would almost have to be a walking encyclopedia; a veritable bottomless wellspring and, essentially, a thesaurus with legs. Oh, let's not forget a movie trivia expert, and a talking dictionary as well.

Another hilarious chapter of Ned and Pons Excellent Adventures, Bill...

Thank you, Dean, for the excellent review. Ned comes easy ( which is frightening). Pons has the patience of Job; that's tougher.

You're very welcome, Bill. I had a Job once that required a lot of patience. Didn't like it much, but the pay was good, heh-heh... (something old Ned might say?)

a one-scene script "Scene at a Coffee Shop" Confusion, confusion, confusion. I love it. This is a great script you have created here, Bill. The humour of it is quite incredible. Very well done.

Thank you for the kind review. That Ned is as thick as a bear steak.

Bill;
-it seems that Ned is somewhat less educated then Pons the best seems to make the conversation more entertaining to read. I think that's because Ned is not that uneducated as it seems. I believe that Ned is playing Pons or that's what I read into it.
-the picture you have chosen is appropriate for the writing sets up the mood and tone for the piece.
-also I can assume that night is a little younger than Pons though I may be wrong with that assumption.
- thanks for sharing and posting this Bill and may you have a very Merry Christmas.
Alex

BEDTIME FER GARBONZO! LOL! Love it. These two guys are always fun. Liver beans... LOL! Well, we know what he means, don't we? My mom was like that. Usually got close enough that you figure out what she was talking about. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA - these make a wonderful little TV comedy show (I can see them on something like Saturday Night Live) - in fact, I can "SEE" them!

How very cute. My what a play on words. I didn't think you could do so much with beans, but the English language is very versatile and works well in many situations. Ned seems a little slow, but certainly carries the humor of your writing.
Very well done. Keep up the good work. Do you share your writings with your students?
