Wow! Wonderful! And, being a short stand alone, something I can quickly get my mind around and assimilate. Moreover, it's a story for my heart, and creation for my aspirations. Thanks for sharing, Rhonda, I hope to catch up with your book soon. Happy writing, Maureen*&*

Is this cutie your granddaughter? What a face.

The point of view's internal thoughts are authentic and funny. All the actions are filled with sensations a baby would ooo and ahh at. Good luck with the contest.

Yes, she is my granddaughter, and I loved visiting with her over Thanksgiving. I hated to go back to Texas and leave her behind. sniff...and she has a wonderful relationship with the cat. Thanks again,

That's cute. We don't really think babies have a secret life one we Mothers don't know a thing about, well now we know. Poor cat having a tail pulled hard enough to retaliate. No typos that I could see. Regards MaBaker

Well, this baby does anyway, haha. Gotta wonder what they think about all day...
    Thanks for the review,

Very cute story from a unique perspective. I guess we can only imagine what thoughts go through a baby's head. You did a good job--very imaginative. Small children seem to be hugely attracted to animals. Must be the soft fur and wagging appendages! I hope you do well in this contest.

Thank you so much for the review and encouragement! Yes, babies are a bit like kitties. They do love to chance wiggling things! Lol.

HAHAHAHAHA! Oh my, this is just adorable! Poor tyke, kitty doesn't care too much for tiny hands, unable to do much more than grasp a handful of fur. Puppy tail better scoot! What a sweet story! Best of luck.

Thank you for the wonderful review, Dawn! Kitties and babies aren't always the greatest mix! Haha

This story made me smile. The baby's voice is really cute. I like the part where she can't think of what comes after two. Very imaginative.
I'm glad real baby didn't get slashed.
Well done
All the best in the contest.

Thank you, Tessa. Yeah, there are two cats in the house. One is scared of her and the other one lays and watches over her. Thank you, again!

Hi there,

I enjoyed this inventive little piece, and I could just picture this going through the mind of a little one. You could just sit and watch them for hours!

All the best and good luck.

Thank you so much for the review and thoughts. Babies, like kitties are fun to try and figure out what they are thinking. Haha

Hahaha. Our poor pets, God bless them -- everyone! They are so tolerant (usually) of all the little ones who grope, grab and choke them half to death, lol. It's almost as if they instinctively sense that this "small thing" really has no idea of what he or she is actually doing.

Well, if we weren't aware of what goes on in the mind of a toddler tethered and tied down by a car seat, we certainly are now.

Great story, very cute and funny. Good luck in the voting booth.

Gotta a big-old Cajun smile on my face. This is most definitely a tale from a child's perspective. Perfect contest entry. Best of luck.

Thank you so much. How sweet to get a six star review from you. I'll share the surprise with my granddaughter as soon as she's old enough to not stalk kitty tails. Lol!

Such a cute little story through the eyes of an adventuress young child. It's wonderful when you catch the exact moment a little one manages to achieve something they've been trying so hard to do, such as the rollover in your endearing story.
