RPSaxena: I don't believe most people go to church "to find God". We go to church because we already have Him in our heart and that place is a central place for His believers to congregate to give Him praise and worship. Your author's notes are spot on. Nice writing. Linda

He is certainly an energy source here and your faith is truly evident. In spite of not being of a religious faith I DO believe there is something inside all of us which lets us feel as one with the earth and nature in a spiritual way and that goes a LONG way to self assuredness and our place in the world. A lovely poem and uplifting read.

He is certainly an energy source here and your faith is truly evident. When one reads a poem whose theme strikes the heart with such dead-aimed accuracy one knows the poet believes and acts on the contents in his own life. I can with all confidence award this a six, totally forgiving the rhyme of God with Lord. LOL, Your aim is perfect and life altering for someone who is ready for the message.

I especially became enraptured by the line "self-worth coupled with God's love leads us to sucess" because you reminded us that we have to love and value ourselves. I truly appreciated how you included several religions by opening the poem with "we pay a visit to a temple, mosque or church".

Faith is difficult subject to talk about, and even harder to write about - accurately. It takes faith to recognize faith when it knocks us over the head. Your poem reflects the fact that when we sense and/or feel God, it must be Him striving to help us to help ourselves, which is as good an explanation as one should need.
