This is a great little poem about the important things of life. Your last line really says it all with "life becomes more precious as time goes by."
"Life can be taken away in an instant" is so very true. The last words my daughter said the night of her massive heart attack as she left our house was "I love you. Tell dad I love him, too." Those are precious words to hold on to.
Really a wonderful poem.

    Awww Joyce, So sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine losing a child, mine are grown now but always our babies. I lost my younger sister to a short illness this year. This is our first Thanksgiving without her, not sure I'll get through but I have to have faith. I wish you and your family all the best and a wonderful Thanksgiving...I do hold onto the good moments best I can as I'm certain you do, Take care, Annie

    I am so sorry about your sister. My sister and I are best friends. Our grandson is deployed so we will have the holidays without him, but he will be coming home in April. Best Wishes

Everyone is special although we all have our own lives
But always remember, life becomes more precious as time goes by.

What a wonderful world we would be living in if we all awoke in the morning with the idea that we are special as is every one else. Also, to remember that our live become more precious as time goes by. I wish I had a six left for this but all out. so ****** Patricia

    We can wish and dream...I like to treat others as I want to be treated. No matter who we are or what our beliefs, we all matter. Life is so short, I always believed that but now I know it...Thank you Patricia for reading and reviewing my poem, thank you for the wonderful review. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Annie

I liked the lovely reminder to be thankful for things we take for granted. I wonder if (I'm no great poet critic) you could put a period in there somewhere to outline sentences.

AnnieGale;
-such a bright testimony to life and how we should live it. Your words of wisdom bring forth an understanding that is surely as the snow falls and the hairs on our head turn gray; that life is a precious moment that we should take sincere thought in respecting what little time we have and proceed to live it well.
-your poems would be much prettier if you would center it. you could use the advanced format by clicking on the bottom of your formatted box. Then you could choose the second from the right to center your words. I think it would make it much centered and I think better formatted. Then you can enlarge the words to a 20 count by highlighting the whole poem and hitting the count to 20.
good luck.
- thank you for sharing and posting and may the good Lord be with you always my friend.
Alex
PS: May you have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

    Thank you again Alex, I didn't know how to do that with the format...I will surely try that next time. I wrote that poem several years ago but never for the public. I lost my baby sister this year and changed my life forever but this writing came to mind. Life does have a way of making us look at things differently and teaches us to learn to treasure every moment. Thank you for your kind words and your wonderful review. Best to you and yours, Annie
