I so love herons...I remember the last time I saw one, in our creek a few miles inland from the ocean. They are such great hunters, and so graceful. Very nice free verse!

She is absolutely a stately bird. I lived up north and they were magnificient to watch while we were in the boat. They were not afraid but kept on fishing.
