I love when I see a blue heron because it's so rare, so naturally I had to take a look at this poem.

There is beauty all around us as we observe the animal kingdom, flowers and fruit, insects and the like. They are all following the patterns set in place by Almighty God.
Not only does He provide for us humans, He also sees to it that the animals, birds and insects get fed and the grass, flowers and the trees also receive nurture.

Excellent observation and conveyance of the feelings you had when watching this beautiful bird.
It's a gift to convey vivid imagery in words for the reader, and you display it so well here.
My one nit-pick is I don't see enough poetic devices, such as a little random rhyme, alliteration or metaphors, but I still enjoyed the read very much.

What a lovely bird, She is nature's gift of beauty, to be sure. I Wonder what makes her blue. Flamingos are pink from eating shrimp, wonder if it's similar...a food related result. At any rate, your poem paints a clear a picture of a nature walk and observation of this creature.

Beautiful blue color! We hay gray Herons in MI, but I don't think we have blue ones. They are fun to watch. A very nice poem describing this beauty.
