Hi Brett,
This was an interesting story, although it was really a long piece to read. I prefer a little shorter stories myself, but to each his own, I guess. I do look forward to reading more of your work though.

Strongly believe a story requires whatever number of words it takes to tell it completely.
Otherwise, why bother writing it at all?

That lady certainly knew how to handle a gun. I liked the descriptions of the drunk, he did a good job getting the little guy back. Well narrated, good dialogue and an enjoyable read. faye
