You had me rolling down reading your hair-raising story. I mean your new haircut, looking like a hairy eraser. I can just imagine how you look like then, is this a true story? I almost feel like it is and despite the gloomy prospects of being out of job on Christmas, without a car and a garage, I could just laugh at you. Ha, ha, ha,. You are really very creative to elicit this reaction from me, I can't stop laughing. I don't have a six but this story deserves six stars. God bless.

I'm so glad you saw that aspect of the story. This man was going to have a good Christmas, NO MATTER WHAT! No it's not a true story but I'm so glad you liked the hairy eraser. Thanks for the awesome review. Have a great day and God bless.

Lovely and inspiring story of a Christmas present. Your family was intact and your house was saved. Those kids were very lucky to have a home and good parents. Best wishes, always.

Hi there,
This was actually quite a nice tale in the end, despite the dour beginning and the tragedy of the fire. Every cloud!
The fallen barn be hind the blue house - behind.
major shoe manufacturer's - no apostrophe necessary.
What else do you want on Christmas day - question mark.
What else can you say. - question mark.
Garmany street - Street.
Why don't you come to bed, Tony - question mark.
get bored to fast - too fast.
save our house. He sreams - screams.
Tony, lets hit the front - let's.
I wish the Merry Christmas - them.
but declined - decline.

Wow Mike, it could've been worse, not only
the garage but the house could've burned
as well. Thanks to Sammy that smelled the
smoke and called dad.
Always look at the positive side of life.
Dad got a "haircut" and nothing happened
to anybody else.

Very interesting story. Our barn burned and as you mentioned when you can hear the sirens coming that is a blessing. We have twelve goats, a donkey, and two llamas which we were able to save. We were able to find homes for all of them. The donkey and llamas are at the zoo, so have a nice home for life. They have allowed them to share the same pen as they enjoy each other.
Well done. Thanks for sharing.
