A coommon sentiment, bur you have found the perfect words to express it. Man drools, oh my, is that ever the image that comes to mind. This has my vote.

Well said, my dear (no pun intended) friend
Ok, maybe there was.
I know, sixes are valuable, but hell, I had to.
This photo is ridiculously painful to see...
Go win this

Poet,

Well you have a very strong message that you
successfully conveyed within those few
syllables.

The use of "drools" is very effective.
Well done!
Linda

This haiku, Craving the Hunt, uses its sixteen syllables to basically denounce hunting and the somewhat senseless search for trophies of otherwise harmless animals. Your choice of words and graphic illustration send a powerful message.

This is a dramatic and accusatory haiku that is most expressive. "Man drools" is excellent concrete imagery. Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer

Do believe a more fair situation in this conflict would be to give the animals a gun as well as the human.

Winner takes all.

Well written poem that uses terms such as "murderer" to better illustrate how some people view those that hunt.

Should also be a good contest entry.

Ha! I couldn't agree more. Or at least hand to paw combat, yes? Thanks for the great encouragement. :)

The thought, let alone the sight, of animal 'trophies' gathered by cowardly men-murderers sneaking around with guns, is abhorrent to me, mystery writer.

OK, if they eat all their kill, that's a different matter, but to call this 'sport' when they retain the heads and horns and leave the rest to rot, is beyond me.

Your dramatic economy of words reflect my opinion exactly.

Best wishes, Ray
