I enjoyed reading this poem about a love lost. A very catchy opening line with the riding rainbows phrase. A good poem and lyrics of reflection on what went wrong from his POV.

This is a very real and very sad poem about love lost. The one that got away perhaps. When the relationship ends, the memories sometimes become stronger and we analyze our part in the failing of it all. It hurts in a way that seems to take us over from time to time. Even when the healing has begun and acceptance is just around the corner, something reminds us of that love that we lost.
I loved this poem and even the sadness that it brought. I especially love d the way you ended.

Tonight I'm riding rainbows that always go away
Looking for tomorrow in every yesterday
No anger here. I like this sentiment. I also really enjoyed the repeating lines.

This is a very real and very sad poem about love lost. The one that got away perhaps. This is great. I love the image of riding rainbows that always go away. It seems that after many years he's still longing for the one that got away. No matter how she may have treated him, memories won't go away, even though he wants help in finding a new love. Excellent flow in this, and I can imagine it being sung. Definitely a "6." Very well written poem and regret comes always too late, but the memories that stays behind can be made better to soothe your pain. Color in the rainbows but remember the next time to keep the rainbow in your hand.
