Emotionally evocative piece on a lost love and its aftermath. The author uses the poem as a confessional apology and explanation of his following years. Good description and diction. Solid form and pretty good flow throughout. Well done.

This poem tells a sad story of a lost love and possibly the journey of a lost soul. It flowed well with me except for just a few spots, but that would smooth out in a song. It tells the story of so many. I have to imagine what lie was told but it is easy for me to fill in the blank. That may be different to each readers past history. I enjoyed it.

Beautiful and melancholic song about love lost. We all go through this at some point of our lives, at least most of us. I like your poem/song, it is well written with well chosen words that evoke the sorrow that comes with losing somebody we love. Good job!

When ones heart aches it seems we are riding on rainbows until they fade into the sky...Such a beautiful lyric and heartfelt poem and with the words one seems to get caught up into as you are reading them...I love the rhyme and rhythm when your reading it...I would have given you a six but I am all out for now...God Bless...Cinda
