Michael, this poem is lovely, shows the softer side of you. And, the music shows a more relaxed mood, perhaps. God bless you real good on this day of rest and prayer. Thunder

Hi Linda....-smile- ...yes maam, I have two sides...spiritual and earth ritual. I think about you...a lot...usually at night while trying to sleep. "Duos" tells me she's coming to see you and the reason. Its beautiful....I'm sorry about this life's ending Thunder....I wish I could stop it for seen fear on loved faces. the real blessing in every life is time...you have what is windswept from more than less. Time to make ready your passage to realm of the Spirit God. I think time well spent in contemplation and acknowledgement. I am blessed to have met you, read your soul...and forever call you friend. love you Michael

I love the alliteration and repetition of the line "fragrant as first flowers find." It flowed and added play to your poem. The alliteration of the letter "s" was also effective in tying this poem together. This is a poem of love--musical, beautiful love. I know Gloria appreciated this poem. Thank you for sharing.

dna "Magdalene" This is a good poem you have created here, and I enjoyed the clarity of it. It sends a special message to those who need it most. Very well done.

Really romantic and beautifully written. Love how you repeat the first stanza, but changed the order around. Super alliteration of F words. Great imagery and metaphors. Superb writing! Les

This is an interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. I love this attitude and I am a writer in my heart too, even though I earn my living elsewhere. Some people do not understand this.

Hey Man...-smile-...I understand. I dont know much about ...ah the history of poetry...but I got a feeling it was all free verse...until attempted to be controlled by "some" who claimed its establishment. I believe "most" poetic "greats" were workers of "other" trades and or very poor...until their passing ...unrecognized well. Some of the Psalms of David were penned while he was a fugitive, homeless and hunted by his earthly government...some even a beggar of God in fearful plea. So I wouldn't worry we're in good company and maybe thats what makes great poetry. ...-smile- thanks...love Michael

Wow... I really wish I had a six to give this beautiful mecca of words... so lovely as a tribute to our beautiful Gloria...
I found your wording to be exquisite... beautiful and so artistic... i stopped by here earlier and as often happens, i received a phone call and got distracted. I'm glad you came by and reminded me what I needed to do or I might end up back in the forum...
wasting time... rapping or something. ;)
(as long as I'm winning, i don't mind... but if you read Gloria's just recently... omg... well, I think we'll all need to just do a mic drop and leave the stage. LOL)
And so I start here with my thoughts...:
sure as beauty's dance with days go by
her music permeates heir apparent
fragrant as first flowers find
summer dress up weather sunshine
she is pinnacles find
sweet as puddings sugar high
(she is pinnacles find) I just think that's so lovely... I think that pinnacle's should be possessive, because she is pinnacle's find... right?) either way... lovely)
satisfying as celestial heavens climb
effort summits ultimate worship
natural actions echoed chime
( i love the echoed chime... i can almost hear it now)
innate human being spirit real
Jesus Christ pantomime
honest essence need not try
(I get the first line... the second... sort of puts me off kilter.... (but that's ok) the third confuses me a little... why shouldn't honest essence not try?)
fragrant as first flowers find
her music permeates heir apparent
sure as beauty's dance with days go by
(that's just gorgeous...)
All in all, this is just a beautiful mosaic, woven like a tapestry of hand painted tiles... softly shifted around to mirror the woman, the artist, the spirit that is... Gloria...
and also, the spirit that is... Michael. ;)
Lovely in its synergistic form.
Well done dear lovely one.
;)

A lovely poem for those who do their best and remain faceless. Of course, we were told to pray without an audience the complete antithesis of the Pharisee's and Sadducee's devotions. Anonymous is an extremely strong word.

You know the most beautiful "poems" in this world are found in the Psalms of David. His public prayers, fears, pleas, even request for vengeance put upon...poured out in honest soul.. heartbroke and happy he wrote music. Hey Dianne ...-smile- I dont think its the face but the hearts desire thats witnessed and remembered. Anonymous is Monk Diane...only good for his soul. love Michael
