Very well written. Intriguing scene. Didn't see any typos. Liked the description of food. Curious to see what happens. I also really like your description, and the way you avoid telling. Example: "A tourniquet of pressure ran the perimeter of my skull, and the contents of my stomach warned me they were about to take action." instead of "I felt nervous." :)
