A bit more insight into your daughter, Jeff, and their relationship. Do you get the feeling there was more than they stated for not going to visit Bobby?

Complainers, heh? Nobody likes those who complain.

I like how you interject and contrast your feelings with your daughter's behaviors and commentary.

Has Frank changed his opinon much about Jeff?

A nitfor you to review:

traded your love of musicals to gangster shows. >better: traded your love of musicals for ganster shows

Just dropped by to see what's up. Hope all is well. Did you miss me?

I do miss you, Diane, but know how busy you are with a new house and all. Wish you had time to share that story with us.
No, Frank has not changed his mind about Jeff, mainly because of something he did on our third visit to L.A. But that will be a while. Am starting the next post today. Not rushing though.

Holy flaming rat turds, Batgirl. Can you say douche? No, douche with capital letters D-O-U-C-H-E. Ok, you could write hundreds of chapters about what a dipwad Jeff is, but this video says it all. Your poor daughter. You think she married him just to spite you and your husband. I get it now, good stuff there, Spitfire.

Well, you mirror my feelings, husky. He's certainly not like anyone else in our prim and proper family. :-)
    Yeap, spite could be involved.

Wow, what a video! LOL. It's a good chapter, Shari. I liked you and Frank doing the "microscope" thing. It's too bad they didn't make the time to see Bobby. I have a couple of things for you to eyeball ...

"I saw that too,(.)" Frank interrupted my thoughts.

He called her 'Albino White Chick'".(I'm not sure, but doesn't the period go before the final quotation mark?)

Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Appreciate the mention of microscope. I thought it a fitting phrase. Took me a while to get over my anger at her failure to see Bobby, but I was good and never scolded her for it. Thanks for noting the spags. Not sure of the period placement either. I'll have to check it out in my spare time. LOL

Watched the video, Shari. Yikes and ugh! It does clinch this write.

Poor Frank and you. And mostly ... poor, poor Nichole!

I've noticed that couples seems to take on their partner's negative qualities easier than the positive ones. Odd.

Has this write been therapeutic?

Have a great weekend.

Love,

Sonali

The write is helping me find answers, I hope. Interesting observation about couples. Wonder if any research has been done on that.

"What is up with that last sentence?" You are a pro at exposing the ordinary and funny them wham leave the reader mouth open, stuttering after reading the last sentence. I hope there's no malice here, but hey, your family is a drama magnet.

I suspect every family has similar drama.
It's all in the telling. :-)

Jeff's portrayal in the attached video seems to fit your description of him in to a tee. It's hilarious! Very well written chapter and once again that last line zinger is a audience holder. Thanks for giving me another wonderful glance into your life history.

So glad you enjoyed the video. Jeff loves his cigars and wine too. Granted he does have some talent. :-)

Haha - Just recently the movie "Bugsy" was on cable TV.

Great inner dialogue. I cracked up over '...love of musicals to gangster shows.'

I'm smiling again at line about having to find something worthwhile.

I really enjoyed the video and am impressed with Jeff's achievement. For some reason I thought this was going to end in divorce. Does Nichole know you're writing about her? Hugs, Lou P.S. Your daughter is beautiful.

Nichole would be furious if she knew I was writing this. She's a very private person. Once finished, I most likely will delete it. Jeff does have talent but his personality is so overbearing.

Oh my gosh...the video of the real Jeff fits your character descriptions perfectly. Totally full of himself. I also think he is the reason they didnt stop to see Bobby. :-(

Well, at least the video looked like he was having fun. I'm glad they're still together after sixteen years. It would be a bit of a waste to think Nichole put up with him for all those years for nothing!

I suspect she stays with him because at her age 46, she could only attract 70+. Her words! The middle aged men want twenty-something.

I figured Jeff got along with Alex because they were on the same age level. Interesting dialogue and reflections on Jeff and Nicole's visit. A lot of nerve for them to complain about the hotel you'd selected for them. From the look of the video, he didn't make use of exercise facilities anywhere. They always seem to find something to complain about. Interesting insights into your family. judi

He was slender when I first met him eons ago. But love of wine and beer quickly put fat on him. You're right about his being on the same age level as Alex! Thanks for reading and commenting, judi.
