A powerfully written story and an easy read. Very descriptive, with suspense right to the end. Amazing how you are able to tell the story so well from the perspective of the person with the drinking problem. Its almost like you were him, but its fiction. Well done.

Hi Brett, this is a masterfully told tale that would have any half decent reader cheering at the end, I am not violent and never have been but sometimes justice needs to be seen to be done.
Your characters were well drawn and I could picture the narrator sitting there, Great story well told!

This is a chilling and powerful story. I was easily able to predict the ending, but other than that I found it to be a decent and compelling read. I also found it interesting that the father is an alcoholic, even though his son was killed by one. That's a nice psychological twist.
