Wording is simple as well as impressive.
Smooth and captivating flow from top to bottom with lovely rhyming scheme and lively imagery.
2nd and last stanza are particularly noteworthy.

Love this inspiring nicely flowing work and yes I too believe we all have a purpose and are most cherished in God's world. Sometimes our doubts get in the way of purpose but with faith and eyes open we will always find the way....really enjoyed this one ..well versed with an uplifting message

very TRUE, I especially like the two first paragraphs. Then you kinda lost me with all the spiritual messages. I don't believe in thinking about God as such, but solving your problems by yourself. Sometimes friends can help but sometimes they just lead you down the merry path.

I agree with your notes that everyone is equal, Roy, though of course we all go at least slightly different ways, and some think they don't need faith and/or decent values, as much as others.
I guess it's human nature to be selfish to a degree (as I think hinted at in your poem), as otherwise we'd strive for nothing, and stagnate, but of course that should be coupled with care and consideration for others - something the rich, privileged and exploitative often DON'T have in bundles, though sometimes PRETEND to have.
With respect, I found your author details, attached to the bottom of the poem, rather distracting (and OUT of meter LOL)

Roy, you certainly give us something to think about in this fine poem of yours. I don't think I, personally, am daunted by what lies ahead - curious or perhaps apprehensive, I think we do our best to plan our future and make the best of things. If God is giving us a hand, then that's fine. But I have never thought of it that way. I always enjoy reading your poems - well written and a good read. Warm regards Dorothy

This is a fine piece of poetry dear Roy! I have made way for my and my man's move to north Finland. It's a huge step forward since I'm still very much inside my head due to my schizophrenia. But your poem involves change for the better I hope.

What a lovely shout out to your faith and this is such a sixer worthy piece! So many of us haven't worked out our purpose yet. Hey, maybe we have no purpose. I disagree! LOL I think for those who choose one, whatever that may be will lead a much more satisfying one that those who ponder anxiously nat the thought that this is all for nothing. I believe each of us is here to make our mark and pass on the baton / legacy when we leave. Your faith is strong and purposeful. What a blessing. How I envy thee haha...Just kidding. I have my purpose. Anyway well done, super job...of course you had The Lord on your side so you had it wrapped up in divine power from the get go.
Please enjoya a well earned sixer. The rhyme and rhythm a sight to behold and enjoy.

The dreams and aspirations we have are guided by our Lord, if they aren't God blessed they become desires. I love reading your work Roy, you have a good way of bringing the word of the Lord into our world with such ease. Your rhyme and flow are beautiful.
