Very encouraging, inspirational, and uplifting poem.
I do believe everyone is born with a purpose in life.
I think that indeed dreams and aspirations can lead you far as long as you don't give up and have a burning desire to make them come true, and while they don't happen, they feed your soul and make you happy.

Great, Roy, as always. I have come to believe also that a clear understanding of the future is possible through the scriptures and very necessary for our continuing growth in grace. Many Christians shy away from such teaching for various reasons, none of them good. God has a plan and we can know it as we test out the scripture by the scripture. God bless, Dennis

I tried to reply to your reply to your post, regarding forgiveness, you were very gracious to me, thank you, I grant you it's really hard to counsel abusees, concerning abuse, particularly sexual, A lady named Joyce Meyer, (a Christian teacher, you can get her on the web) was sexually abused as a child by her father, has an excellent testimony, it might help. Great review thanks, I do agree with you, how do you get some quality of life into an abusee, but others can help, God helped me, but not everybody listens to that, blessings, Roy

This is a lovely meditation on purpose. I enjoyed the consistent rhythm and rhyme. I also love the message of how important dreams and aspirations are. It reminds me of a Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "Psalm of Life", which is one of my favorite poems!
Only critique - I think doorway is a closed compound noun so there's no space in it.
