Yay...the black hawks arrive to help out but the gang is still advancing and Jim takes a bullet...maybe he will get some tlc from Soni.

Excellent info on the attack methods of a chopper in battle. Do you really think that the bear would have hung hung around after it started? Just wondering. You sound as if you know a great deal more about the subject than what I do.

I've read enough now to look forward to your next post. Your story is developing really well. Your characters seem to all be in character. I do wonder about the black bear. "He's standing on his hind legs. Is that your grandfather?" Would her grandfather be in disguise and what about the superstitions?
I didn't notice any errors or anything that needed corrected.

Thank goodness the copters arrived in time. You would think the zetas would run away... how stupid they were to think they had a chance! Serves them right for being shot. Jim is going to have to tell Soni the truth now, I think. :)

Lots of action in this update, I continue to be interested in the black bear helping out the "good guys". Also interesting is the fact that the gang members shot at some of their own guys - not a very nice bunch of people. I assume and hope that Jim will be okay in spite of getting shot, or this romance isn't going to work out... :)

Wow, this is a well written action-packed chapter. The gang members are being fired upon from all angles, including their own: The few who had retreated were shot by their fellow gang members.

I completely understand not re-describing everything for those who are late to the party, but I DO think you need to add some minor place descriptions to your piece. I felt as if this were just a story, and not 'real'. There was nothing helping me to actually picture the scene and 'anchor' it to the ground of my mind. Make sense?
