Excellent photo that complements your story perfectly. It is a good read for the day before Sunday. And I agree we should not force ids to the church. We should slowly prepare them.

I would imagine that for someone who knows they need to repent then the process should be a slow one to being born again. I have always been a Christian, have not sinned in the real sense of the words, but have learned to repent through having faith. Well expressed thoughts and great message. faye

Welcome back Dennis! I have missed your posts. Truly a wonderfully written message and every line true. I am familiar with these verses. I didn't understand this myself until about 6 years ago. It's not about religion, it's about a relationship with Jesus. It's amazing, the closer I grow to Him, everything gets better. Scripture becomes clearer, I feel stronger, more peace, more patience. We really do become more like Him.

Hi, Mr. Denni..You did well to do what many preachers cannot..You teach the students, not teach the Bible like a lesson plan..I liked how you delve the reader by using a scripture to bring light into your thoughts. You're also not forcing something, down anyone's throats. Take care and God bless. Cheers.

It is difficult to know the true teachings of the lord when there are so many false teachers around. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words.

If we learn the teachings of the Apostle Paul, we will be better equipped to identify and avoid false teaching. Christ announced the formation of the church but delegated Paul in particular to define it. Thanks for reading and commenting. Dennis

Spiritual counselors often start out with asking a person seeking guidance: When did you begin your spiritual journey. For me it began in earnest when I started high school. His thoughts helped me get through many a rough day. My favorite line in this:
Spiritual maturity in the Christian life is not instantaneous. It comes about by eating the right spiritual food, instruction in thinking God's thoughts after Him and exercising, in the form of helping others.

I like to think the journey still continues once we depart this earthly realm.

I guess in Mattthew 13:24-30 it says it all, why they are there? To strengthen the wheat, I found the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, (John. 16:13), the elect cannot be deceived (Mark 13:22), so I guess by there fruit you know them, I wish Christians would learn there scriptures, eventually it would lead to maturity, brilliant subject Dennis, well done, my brother, I haven't seen you for awhile, blessings, good teaching, blessings, Roy,
