Well written poem that clearly depicts age is just a number. Notes interesting also. Just because you reach 70 years old does not mean life is over. In many cases it is just beginning.

Your lovely poem captures both physicality, the faith and personality of this woman. It also communicates the fine respect you hold for her abilities, her energy and calling. She would love this, I'm sure. I really liked the part of your tribute:
A reedy voice belted
praise and glory.
There's no one quite like
God's own Patsy Clairmont.

With her red-hot spark
fires were lit!

I love to people watch...and she would be a good one to observe. You can tell she loves much just by that smile...
Well penned and great photograph

Hi TAB. Wonderful and thoughtful tribute to Patsy. I'm not familiar with her however, you illustrate her well in your poem even venturing to tell us her age. Cheers.

Thank you Benjamin. Your reviews are always appreciated. I always try to reciprocate but I don't review chapters. I always check though to see if you have posted a short story or poem:)

Hi TAB, I completely understand. Sometimes I'm the same way cause its hard trying to jump into the middle of chapter. I don't like feeling like Jesus in the lost Wilderness. Heh heh. Cheers.

Hi
I like the very visual description of the power-house lady. I can see her petite frame with loud clothing and jewelry. I can also hear the silence just as she steps up and her," reedy voice,' takes the room by storm.
I never heard of her or her mission but she does sound like someone I'd check out if in my area. I love the spunky wisdom of older ladies.
