Absolutely well said in such a short piece.
Emotion held through and a message to remind us of God's teaching.
Rhyme and rhythm are spot on and easy to understand

A beautiful and matching photo that complements your poem perfectly. Life is filled with trepidation. Who knows what is true or false. Jesus solves this all, and you won't thirst.

thank you for a very inspiring poem but the last line seemed as if you were just finding a word to rhyme with folk otherwise a very good effort.

Hi Royowen. Yes, how could we read false from true? How about truth from false? How could we know? Perhaps, humanity is and has always been naïve; conditioned to be so because of the old saying; Lie to people long enough, and they'll eventually believe it.
I feel your message is simply being kind to others likely because in the end, that's all we could really do, the only logical thing to do. Thanks for this. Cheers.

Too true. This reminds me of that son "I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden". If we never experience the downside we wouldn't be able to appreciate the the high point. Good, steady rhythm and rhyming couplets.

Wise words Roy. We should all work hard to live by the powerful message in your words. It pains my heart to see so many people treated different from another. I've had this happen to me as well. It makes you feel like your not as good as everyone else, and that your beneath others. Everyone should be given a chance as an equal no matter what their race is, their religion, education, or if their male or female. We were all made by the same creator.

I found this extremely well written. Starting with the photo, saying that we can work and live together as one, through the words of your poetry, you spread the hope.
Well done, my friend.

It all seems so simple, doesn't it? Do unto others...? Honor others, but don't put anyone on a pedestal. Your poem is timely as we are in crisis. Well constructed and rhymed.

Well done. Should frame this one. I have always taught, you will catch more flys with honey than salt. LOL. The Word, as you know is always rich either in poetry or story. You bring to it to life in both. Thanks, Bro.
