I enjoyed reading your Tanka poem and in counting the syllables found you have them completed correctly. J am unsure about the "X" but I imagine it can be counted as a syllable. I haven't mastered this type of poetry yet so I am glad to be able to read yours. Good job.

Excellent images in this poem in which the verses gives a beautiful image about a bawler taking with his hand the bawling ball and with rapid walking movements release it, throwing it to strike the bawls. I liked it very much. But I have not six stars.

Bowling...I like it I am not all that good...I guess I should dry my palms first
I'm not sure what the Xtasy would be cos gutters seem to get in my way...they should make gutter ball a sport....

Thank you, Jenny, for reviewing this. The X is suppose to stand for the mark on a score sheet associated with a STRIKE. It also is supposed to be suggestive. It seems to have guttered in both regards.
