Beautiful quatern poem, it has a great rhythm and perfect rhyme. The poem is sad but endearing. I really like the picture you used and the colors you chose. Good job!

Thank you so much for joining me on this stroll. I have to drive quite a ways to find these trails now as the city keeps creeping outward.

This quatern, Those Summer Walks, raises the idea of those summer walks to the shining time in one's life that it was. Communicating with another at the basic level, in the middle of a shared admiration for the greater natural world, seems like the pinnacle of what we can hope for as friends.

This is a very lovely Quatrain poem. AI like your choise of the repeat line. Yout meter is flawless and your rhyme excellent. The picture was a great choice for the poem. Well done Author. Good luck. Nancy

Some body said that remembering is to live again. In this beautiful poem the poet express the recall of wonderful summer walks with a friend. Relations with nature between them was important because as good friends they spent that moments talking and sharing their love to nature.
Congratulations.

This reminds me of a book my daughter-in-law gave me. It has a sweet reverie to it.
I'm not sure I understand "old friend" because I have no reference to your own age but this is a minor thing in the whole.

Thank you for sharing my poem. Yes, I do strive for a nostalgic tone in my poetry and "old friend" is to be taken literally two ways: as one who IS old and as one who has been my friend a long time.
