this romantic poem is filled with passion, as a reader is taken through one POV's experiences, with that POV's voice talking to someone they love and want. There are a lot of steamy physical euphuisms that give a warm, fuzzy feeling, and anyone who's been in love, or at least gotten that desire to be tangled up into someone can relate to. After I read, I was appreciative that there weren't any words that felt forced, the flow was natural and easy to follow.
I did have a couple suggestions for you to consider, though they are not huge

(I think the pause...setting off you and I with a comma is something you may want to consider)
Mind(-)searing hunger erupts
Mind-searing is a compound adjective and should be hyphenated, else it becomes a noun next to a verb.
