The focus Daisy going home to her family. The storyline development Ess and Shades have slept for over two days. Daisy has returned to her family. Because of the treatment she had received she wants nothing to do with people. They tell Martin what occurred. Oz and Martin are going to go drinking to work off some of Martin's anger. Ess discovers that Whitmarsh is in the hospital . She sends Shades to go check on Whitmarsh in the hospital.
The hook it seems like Shades feels Whitmarsh isn't dangerous since he is in the hospital.
The suspense of what happened to Daisy is answered and now it is will she return.
Keep on writing

I admit I'm a little lost in the plot line. It's been a long time since the beginning chapters and I've forgotten some of the characters. I've enjoyed each chapter as it came out, because of your irreverant style and the humor. I love Ess and Shades and Oz, and I enjoy the relationships between them. But, I wouldn't remember if you've tied up all the loose ends.

I'm assuming that the end of this chapter gets Shades back to working with his underworld boss, who is a vampire? I hope you'll write "The End" when the story is complete.

Always good to read you, Snod.

I hope t get to the end. yes, I'm tying up loose ends now. Probably one more chapter, but I need to go back and fix some issues with the plot. And your not-so-subtle hint accepted. I'll try and write more often.

It's not easy getting back into the routine. I know from experience. Everything else seems so much more important. It's a mind set. Do you still paint, now and again?

I draw rather than paint, but no, not for a while. it takes a week in a hotel alone, with poor internet and few distractions.

Interesting, and well written story that draws readers into the scene where they can much better experience all the events unfolding around them.
