Wow! This is a powerful poem that does not hold back the terror and horror of war. Your poem tells a desperate story and is well written. Horrible ending but also a strong ending for your story. Well done.

Well, Hello my friend, Glad you are back; glad you learned about the Reformation. In 1542, 30,000 people died at the stake for their faith. Love, Kay.

"Fot" in notes should be "For". Well written poem that depicts this tragedy well. Should be a good contest entry. Can peace ever be?

Thank you Brett, I have fixed it. "When the lion lay down with the lamb, peace will prevail." Bible. Cheers, Kay.

I to love to write about the past. The wonderful way you made the Michael the center of the war. I love the way you wrote through his eyes. All the way to the end. I love the picture, were you that close the fire? Have a great day an God bless, mike.

Another good history lesson you've presented in your poem, Kay. Sad knowing that it's going to happen again in coming days, Christians dying for their faith.

Yep, We all have to 'fess up when the time comes. There is a saying "religion is the emotional crutch for the sad and lonely." Religion has done so much damage, on the other hand, faith has made us whole. XX Cheers, Kay.
