Hi Bill - You've done it again. LOL. Another poem in the same rhyming pattern as the one about this person's daughter. Equally as good and a good read. Warm regards Dorothy x

Oh my land, another member of the Schwartz family. These boys really know how to turn a profit for fun, don't they?

Excellent poetry and in great good fun. I can see it all playing out with some terrific drawings.

Nicely done my friend,

Gloria

Thank you, Gloria, for the kind review. I only have four cartoon characters that I draw. The Nameless Thing in the Shoe, Beaman Geek, Ray Decay, and his pet spot, Dog. Bill

I just discovered I read your poems out of order. The same thing I said for the other applies equally to this one.

It's hilarious the way you justify your lack of rhyming by the truth of "but do you really care?"

LOL! I don't care at all, Bill. This is such silly FUN! I love this kind of nonsense rhyme. You're so good at it. Please do more! :)

Bill;
-I truly and really enjoyed the one rhyming which was neither forced nor labored in each of the rhyming words were contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making the rhythm flow smoothly. Absolutely intricate, distinct and clear rhyming that was sufficient enough to work perfectly in each of the lines.
-The rhythmic meter, cadence, timing and tempo were all helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and very easy.
-Very good use of enjambment.
-Another aspect of the writing that I enjoyed was the authors humor in laughing at himself and his rhyming technique.
-Thank you for sharing and posting this Bill and may the good Lord be with you always.
Alex

Miss-spelling of 'jewelers' and also maybe, 'aeroports', though the latter may be intentional fun.

A fun read altogether.

Good flow with imaginative rhymes plus a fun name of the 'hero' make this a very entertaining short read.

Best wishes, Ray

Thank you, Ray, for the helpful review. Actually, according to the dictionary, jeweler is only spelled with two L's by the British. Aeroport finds legitimacy in the word aeroplane, which was an early twentieth century British spelling of airplane (and it adds a syllable). Happy day. Bill

Thanks for that, Bill. I knew us English couldn't spell English words and all live in the past. ;-)

    Cheers, my friend. Ray

LOL You like long names, hah?

Rich Rudolfo was lucky his jewels were in demand, they had a million uses. He had a daughter named Rudulfini Laughter. Good job!

Is this a true story in this poem. Did this man really exist, and became very rich selling quartz all over the world. You can use it for various things. Original poem. Whether it's true or not.

No, not at all
Anyone who can make a poem out of
"Rudolfo Rominino Schwartz"
Deserves praise, not to be buried
under critical impertinence
I thought Rudulfini
was a great way to fini the poem
Dafter rhymes with laughter
but having a little dafter
simply can't compare
with having a daughter
so I think I oughter
fini this review right hare
Well done

Heh-heh... Well, I don't really care at all that it is a slant rhyme, Bill. It's close enough for me. However, there are probably a few poet Nazis out there who have taken to bashing their scolding skulls against the wall because you beat them to it.

I hope they knock some sense into those thick skulls of theirs and realize this was written with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek, a wicked grin across your lips, and purely for fun, lol.

If they can't--fu@k 'em!

~Dean ;)
