Cute story with the typical behavior of an older sibling abandoning a younger one. Nice touch at the end when the "neglecting" brother turns out to be a hero. You've provided a complete story within the 100 word limit.

Sorry. Some sentences are appearing like this -
Kicking the large, colorful ball across the yard, then chasing after
it was only fun for so long.
Hence the sentence is splitting unnaturally over two lines.

This is a cute little story that reminds me and I'm sure others of the relationship that close siblings have with each other. This small event is one that we remember and apply to how we feel about our brothers and sisters throughout our entire lives.
