Dear friend, this year the fires have terrible.
In my state we have had so many fires, people
had to leave their homes.
I'm also worried about Brooke, I hope she is
well taken care of. I miss her as well.

I love the picture. I liked your entry. We do worry more when we go through bad things. We have more empathy when we are suffering. I have paid attention to the wild fires too. I have relatives living there. I hope Brooke and Miranda are okay. Great work.

I feel like I'm reading someone's mail. I ne'er stand the concern for Californians due to the wildfires ( although California takes up a third of the west coast. You should probably ask questions directly with the member. Happy day.

I hope you heard something from someone and all is safe and well. It's a different place on here without Brooke. I live in Wisconsin and we have a drought but it's not every year and the worse thing has usually happens is that the fireworks get cancelled. I couldn't imagine the fires like they have

Don't worry--Brooke's daughter lives in what is called the Valley in Southern California, far away from any of the twenty-one fires (about twenty-five miles from where I live in Malibu on the Pacific ocean). I understand the weather has gotten a bit cooler helping the firefighters to keep the fires from spreading more quickly. Hugs- Joan, still en route to Iceland

Best concerns in this awful fire. My daughter and her family live in Sacramento, talked to her last night. There are fine, so far. I would ask prayers for their safety as well. Thanks!

Calif. fires are a year round hazard and tragedy, even without droughts.
Some are caused by lightening strikes, like some of the latest ones have
been cited as being the cause.
Surely Brooke and Miranda will take all precautions and keep safe.
You are so thoughtful to be so caring and concerned.
