I think especially animals can teach us this unsaid thing. My big dog, Noatak used to sit and stare at me and demanded I stare back-we had a special connection, more so than with his brother. I miss them both. You have captured the essence of the message well with your words, lovely picture. Faye

The point as I see it is that no one or thing is too great or too small to desire or need and appreciate love. Some people are admired, envied and even feared, but not necessarily loved. To be loved in spite of your fame or notoriety, in spite of your money. To just be loved no matter what, is the greatest thing a man can possibly know.

Thank you for reminding us that love comes in many forms.
We have been experiencing good weather--a little cooler and damper than usual, but no real rain on our parade. Today, we saw many spectacular waterfalls and remote houses. Tomorrow, we are off to the Faroe Islands, which should be quite an adventure. Take good care of yourself and we'll chat again soon. Hugs within hugs- Joan

When I read "...size of your heart" I thought of Dr. Seuss's Grinch. When he finally learned to love his heart grew as he finally felt acceptance.
Your wonderful poem is a great reminder of the purity of the meaning of love and how one feels when it is shared.
