Interesting concept and presentation. We all have different aging personalities,
and thank goodness we do! Attitude and personality has a lot to do with how
we age. Crankiness or grumpiness is an acquired habit or attitude.

Really? I didn't realize that before. What an intriguing thought expressed here in this free verse poem. I once was told that you can tell if a man is a good husband, by seeing how his wife ages.

An interesting poem, which can apply to men as well. Although both can change their disposition/character due to external circumstances. Some well-natured people can turn dark and bitter after tragedy befalls them.

Quite a statement, Robina. I don't think that we refer to men that way but it seems that women are easy targets. Perhaps it's because she's been married to" a cheap bottle of wine."
