lol, I think I have seen that guy a few times, different faces, different places, he / she always seems to show up and ruin the night. Great descriptive poem kept me laughing, I really enjoyed it.

This made me laugh. What a wonderful piece of writing. I think we have all known this guy at some time in our lives. How sadly insecure they are. An enjoyable read.

I think a rooster is a very good definition, with wooo whoop insted of cocka-doodle-doo. Sounds quite annoyed in this free verse poetic sketch. Very energetic, yet annoying. Well described.

Great poetry. Yes, I can picture the poor guy, making a fool of himself, in his quest to find a mate, he scares away any possible prospects as well.

Oh a truly excellent write Teresa! You got him nailed to a 'tee' and no, I didn't need a picture - all in my head, and very ably drawn indeed. Bravo! :)Sharyn

Theresa: love this piece. I know the guy you are describing . . . I've seen him in a number of clubs of which I was a regular during those years when I was younger and able to do so. Sometimes it was a woman; but, I remember them all. They are probably still shuffling along with their cane and oxygen (this describes me, actually), seeking to impress some innocent bit of flesh . . . fun read. Linda

lol! Now there is a picture - that same man strutting around whoop-whoooping when he is 80 with his cane and tank (still alone, I'm afraid) thanks for the laugh and the review!

The initial picture- a cock looking for a lay-he sure ain't gonna make any friends if he looks like that lol. Whoop whoop- yes, that would be annoying. And whoop whoop to a Whitney song- no thanks. Somme just exist to call attention to themselves. No wonder he was left alone.

I know him!! Lol! Seems to be a lot of rooster running loose lately :-) I love the humor and the way you so vividly described him (I can see him strutting to and fro). Great job!! God bless :-)

You have used nice imagery and homophones to draw a picture of this characters in words. You could tell from your writing how annoying the man was as he strolled about making sure everyone knew he was there. Great job,
Rhonda
