I have to say, this part of the book is stretching me to the limit because I want to make it believable. Now on a mission to get sympathy for a ghost. First a mouse and now this! Alexis xxx

up also - I just love this story -
I have to admit I feel sorry for Samantha...
so restless and alone.
It reminded her of how it was with Andrew. -One small thing - shouldn't this be past tense - It reminded her of how it HAD BEEN with Andrew

Thank you for catching that, Margaret, and also for the super six. As you now know, it was only Laura's mobile ringtone, but fortunately Samantha's been dead for long enough not to be aware of such a thing. Isn't research a wonderful thing!

Sadly, it's just a ringtone that Laura downloaded onto her mobile phone before she hid it under Igor's bed so she could scare Igor's girlfriend (who she thought was Mazeija) Samantha is convinced it's Andrew however and thinks he's come to take her to hell. Whoops! It's lovely to have you along for the ride, Bear. Alexis xxx

Andrew is back! Sam can be at peace now and go with him to Heaven. What a great outcome that would be. And the haunted room will be normal once again. You sure tied up that loose end well. Can't wait to see their reunion. :)

That was a good idea, getting the people out of there and leaving the ghost alone with the spooky ring tone. She probably doesn't know about those things. LOL I didn't know about them until my daughter got a nasty phone bill when my granddaughter downloaded horse whinnies for her ringtone. She didn't realize they weren't free. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. It should be hilarious.

I didn't even know 'spooky' ringtones existed until I googled 'How can you make someone think there's a ghost in the room.' That's one of the things about writing a present day story - you have to keep up to date with all the fast changing technology!

It was subtle, but I think Samantha's inside Laura, hoping to evade Andrew. What will she do if that darn phone goes off again . . . ? She'll be positive that he's following her.
