Roy;
-This very well written spiritual poem of love is written in rhyming couplet form, written very well and lets the reader to feel the heart and the love of the Lord.
-Being very inspirational and enlightening and this piece of poetry offers much in the way of spiritualism and enlightenment.
-Good use of enjambment which is the running on of a thought and concepts in one couplet, stanza and line to the next without a syntactical break.
-Rhyming words are contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making the rhythm flows smoothly.
-The rhythmic cadence, timing and tempo were all helpful in making the reading clear, fluid and easy.
-Thank you for sharing and posting and good luck in the contest and may the good Lord be with you forever.

Simply great...compare Esau's blessing with Jacob's and see the reversal...with the blessing of God comes the "dew of Heaven" more than mere dew...the refreshing of the Holy Spirit on the life of the believer. God bless and thanks for this reminder to all who dwell in a dry land...

This poem about love, I Was Born To..., seems to start out as a statement of love for another, then turns to God. Eventually the idea of God and love are brought together.

Hi royowen,

I enjoyed reading through this love poem. It has a reoccurring theme examining/ defining the nature of a person and there inner purpose by use of "I was born to". I recognized a relationship with a spiritual love through the words. I really liked the tying of the creed of love being in sync with finding gratification in someone else's needs being fulfilled, verses what someone else makes one feel alone.

I liked the breeze blow and sunlight's sparkle. Those were pleasing phrases.
