Your poem of faith in a loving God, who teaches his followers lessons of righteous living and charity is well written. Excellent word choice and repetitive use of lines in the form of a pantoum works well in this poem,

Hi Debi,

This was such a wonderful read. You lines flow so smoothly that the repeating lines fit effortlessly in the poem...beautiful work!

I appreciated your solid message of faith and act of excepting those trials of life that are there to help us grow as people.

Strong expression of your trust in the Almighty and the help He brings to those who wait.

Hope all is well with you,
Bill

I love your poem. It is so well written and your words are perfect for the subject you have chosen. You have done well in the pantoum sonnet, and it couldn't have been written better.
Blessings, Joan

Spiritual point and truth irrefutably and simply conveyed in this poem,
for indeed we have clear and east to manage and follow ways to
help and embrace others in righteousness and charity. Both picture
and example noted compliment theme perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes always, Ronni

Hi W.J. Debi. I found your gem here to be harder to craft than I realized. Thank you for your author notes as to review what a Pantoum sonnet is. The flow of your poem is gentle and extends an inviting vigor to those who read. The ending is a nice landing. The tender mercies felt like a leaf gently landing on the ground. Good luck and cheers.

Thank you for the wonderful six star rating! I apologize for the delayed response. I've had to work some long hours this past week and getting to the site was not in the cards.

It is delightful to find your generous comments about the writing tonight. I love that statement, "The tender mercies felt like a leaf gently landing on the ground." Thank you so much for the encouragement. I will be smiling all night!

Hi Debi - a lovely Pantoum. Calling it a Pantoum Sonnet is new to me, I have never heard of it. Certainly a sonnet in layout and abab rhyme, and the rest is a good, correctly written pantoum. It is also a really lovely faith poem. So you have certainly given us value for money. I really enjoyed the read debi - warm regards Dorothy xx

    Hi Dorothy,
Thank you for the kind review. I learned about the Pantoum Sonnet from Brooke (adewpearl). She has some lovely examples among all the other forms she has written.

I appreciate the detailed analysis and encouraging comments about the writing. I am so pleased you enjoyed it.

This is a super format, wj debi. It flows so smoothly and allows the deeper message to be absorbed and appreciated. I think the tertameter gives it more punch. The message is pure, no over preachy prognostications, just that invitation from Christ to love others through charity and to experience the grace of his love in return. The repetitions add a beguiling feel to an excellent poem.
