Wow, that's so delicious and well described, my mouth is watering. Honestly, I don't think I've ever read something that appealed to my sense of taste as much as this did. I really enjoyed reading this.

I'd forgotten about this poem. It was my first palindrome and took some time to work out. I am so glad you enjoyed it and it made your mouth water.

Thank you, Linda. My first win. Yeah! I appreciate you taking time to go back to read and review this poem since I entered the contest in July and the contest didn't close until December. I almost forgot I entered. I have only written two palindromes and it may be a while before I attempt one again. Whew!

I had to go back and check out your palindrome. I remember it. I thought it was great. The sad thing about the site contests is you don't get to see all the entries like you do for the prompts so it is easy to miss them.

Rats! Now I'm hungry and I'll bet there isn't a muffin or roll to be found around our diet ridden home, lol.

Debie this is a very good Palindrome poem. It reads backwards so very well that it sounds perfect and not contrived in any way. Very clever to manage to do this. So both the first way and the backwards way both sound very good. A good entry for the contest - Good Luck - warm regards Dorothy x
