I'm happy you got your internet back. It surely can be frustrating. I enjoyed reading your thoughtful piece. I think everyone can agree with these lines: "Seems yesterday I let my heart overrule my judgment...Let my heart cloud my mind ... Something I was never to do again I said...But life is not always filled with the best judgments one has made..." I have found that usually it is better NOT to try to breathe new life into a dying relationship--never works. Maybe the next one will be more suited to us because of lessons learned. Kudos to those who have the introspection to review and learn from past mistakes. Marilyn

I'm glad it's fixed. We feel so "cut off" when the internet goes down.

Occasionally looking back through the rear view mirror is good. It helps us see the road we have traveled and can also help us avoid some of the pitfalls we missed the first time down the road. But at some point we have to stop looking in the mirror and focus on what is in front of us if we truly want to find true love again. Great work with this one. Very thought provoking too.

Thank you so much SGS Yes those rear view mirrors can be scary at times but you always need to keep watch as someone or something might be gaining on you lol ..I am sorry it took so long to reply as I have been in the mist of moving and little time to read, write or reply Hope now that is settled at least for a while anyway

This poem, though full of metaphors and analogies, manages to bypass whatever life was left behind. Those skeletons are best left buried.

This is an interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. We should all learn how to love again. That is what life is all about. Well done.

Oh Sir Knight this Lady hears and understands. My Hope is that you can see past the broken mirror and look at all the ground you've covered. Many life lessons in that rearview. Let disappointment go and now keep your eyes firmly on the road ahead
Always,
LM

TK I am at a loss of words, at this very emotional writing, that portrayed such a loss for you, so no advice or cheer up messages, except to hang in there and keep writing. I can see once you started to write this it seemed to pour from your brain to the keyboard with such fury and release . The road ahead is always a mystery, don't look into the rear view mirror, just enjoy the ride. Cheers Christine
