Alexis, I'm sorry for my late review, but I have been falling behind. I somehow missed your previous chapter, so have read it as well and am now up to date. Both chapters are excellent, and I really enjoyed meeting your ghost, Samantha, the poor lonely soul. Did the cat eat the baby mice? Igor is certainly in a pickle now, with Nadzia making herself at home in his boxer shorts. That was so funny. I'm waiting to see how he gets out of this one.

I take the focus off Nazdia in the next chapter and turn it to Igor's love life. The overbearing Mazeija arrives on the scene at the same time as the beautiful Catriona. I can't think which one Igor's more interested in! Thank you so much for catching up, Annette, and the sizzling six. Alexis xxx

LOL. Poor Igor, dancing a jig as Nazdia plays in the forest. It tickles me to just think about it. Igor saying, "Please, little mousey, don't bite." Thanks for another fun and entertaining chapter. :-)

The day I wrote this, I had some really depressing news about a friend, so I was determined to write something I could send her to give her a laugh. I'm glad to say it did! Alexis x

Hahahahaha! Bugger no sixes left. That is so hilarious that I almost spat my dentures across the office. Brilliant work mate, this is a classic chapter especially as I expected to find a chewed up rat in the carpark LOL. Fabulous stuff. Cheers Fez

Now that's a visual that had me laughing too! I think the one I posted yesterday should amuse you too. I was half expecting the image I downloaded from a site for big 'sexy' women would be banned because of complaining fanstorians, but it's still there!

What a hilarious chapter. I could just picture Igor's dance in the kitchen. At the same time I could imagine what an ingrate Jenny must have felt him to be after they were so kind to him.

Good chapter.

Looks like Igor's done a runner,' [You mentioned this here and a few sentences later. I'm not familiar with it. What does "done a runner" mean?]

Only that question.

Hi Jay. It's an expression used a lot here, and means exactly what says; someone has run off, usually when they're needed. I'm glad you enjoyed the fun side to this chapter. I thought I'd better balance the mouse babies being eater with something light hearted. Having said that, nobody but Igor or Nazdia are bothered. One mouse is quite enough! Alexis xxx

You balanced the sadness of Nazdia's babies being eaten with the comedy of her exploring Igor's nether regions.
Nicely done, Alexis. You continue to write an enthralling story.
Now, about that ghost. . .

(Just as I wrote the word 'ghost' there was a terrible boom of thunder here. I jumped. LOL)

Lol, well that should tell you something! Yes, I thought I'd better do something to counteract the remorse of any mouse lovers, although I'm sure there are none! Alexis x

Funny! I can imagine Igor dancing around with his hand in his pocket. I can imagine lots of different things ran through Jenny's mind. Igor is so determined to keep this mouse safe.

Aww, can't believe how you made me feel for a mouse! Great writing! that picture too is cute. Good job!

With his voice rising to a tone that belied his gender, he danced on the spot, his face contorted. 'I tell you, I no want cat in my kitchen!' he screeched.--LOVED this sentence so much!! Very visual and funny! :-D

What a fun chapter! Loved every minute of it! Great work girl.

Lol, someone else said that, and it made me burst out laughing. As you say, who feels sorry for a sodding mouse? Glad you liked the gender thing. I had written 'had reached falsetto proportions,' and then I reviewed Jay's latest chapter and found he had used the word falsetto too, so I had to rush back and change it! Paranoid or what? Thank you so much for the six. You made my day--again! Alexis xxx

Hello my love. One doesn't have to be current on the book to not enjoy this well written chapter. I laughted when Nazdia made her move up the leg. I am back and will keep up

Hello, Bear! It's good to hear from you. I'm writing this book more as 'scenes' so it's easy to pop in and out of them. Alexis xxx

Amusing chapter. I got two cats and zero mice where I stay. Automatic mouse traps. Lots of details to consume in this one. Lots of human and animal activity. Quite charming. I used to have a gerbil named Stuart Little. Could not cage him, he would jump, hold on with his teeth on wire cage like an acrobat and worm through the tiny cracks. Them critters are really smart and can jump high. Yep, interesting... excuse me for jumping in late. wackydo

I must admit, I was at a loss as to what to with the babies after Nazdia gave birth, so the cat turned out to be very handy! I had a Polish chef who had a hamster, and was inconsolable when it died! He even had me trying to revive it with brandy. Alexis x

This was a fun read, and it boarders on the ridiculous. What a pity kitty didn't eat them all! Now Nazdia survives to breed again. I don't think I go through the trials of Nadia's birthing twice, lol!
I can imagine Jenny would do anything to keep a good, but temperamental chef happy. His skill as an excellent chef are not easy to come by at an affordable price; but patronizing him for keeping a pet mouse ... mmm ... Not in my kitchen! Here, kitty, kitty ... :)

I did consider having Nazdia neutered, but couldn't find a vet who would do it! Thank you for the six, Nicole. I hope it gave you a laugh after dealing with all that snow! Alexis xxx
