This is a wonderful, upbeat story where it could have been a bitter tale. Bless you for being the better man and doing what was right. I'm sure it made you feel better in the end... kindness and forgiveness usually does, whereas a grudge just pulls you down into a dark place where you don't really want to be. Bravo! You may have run out of sixes, but I still have five left, and I would give them ALL to you if allowed. :)

I witnessed how bitterness impacted my parents after their divorce, and I chose a different path. What matters is how we treat people today. Thank you for your encouraging support.

Yes, Gloria, I wrote and performed the story for Father's Day last year on a hunch that my cards and gifts were undelivered. Last month while cleaning out my mother's storage unit, I found the card in a box of my childhood drawings, cards, and reports. I was shocked but not shocked because I always had an intuition that my father did not receive card. The discovery of my undelivered card propelled me to post my story for this year's Father's Day. My father appreciated me accompanying him to his awards dinner and displayed the photo we had taken of us. Thank you for your review.
