Fantastic fantastic fantastic! Not to mention the image at the end left me shivering. This was a well written short story. I plan on reading more from you!

Another awesome horror from you, Dean! You can do a lot in small spaces (with few words)...getting Ozzy in there is really fun and adds a familiar element to the story that I think actually makes me feel more like I'm right there!

Thanks very much, 'Lips. That's what it's really all about, isn't it? Trying to lace your readers into the story, as best you can, anyhow.
I very much appreciate your review, and thanks for reading!

Ok, creepy guy under the stairs!
lol
I used to never want to go into the cellar.
Until this day.... i'm no fan of cellars.
not to mention they are full of mold and spores (which are sometimes
scarier than monsters, by the way)

I enjoyed your story... (of course), and I think this book of yours is going to
be really cool!
Well done
Cat

Hi Dean. You made me cringe, gasp, shudder and then the notes made me chuckle...coffin... So much to do in so short a time. Those poor little kids, and then what happens when the grow ups come home? I know, it's left to th imagination, followed by a Dean hehehe

Thanks so much, Debi. My recent stay in the hospital put me so very far behind, and I apologize for the delayed response. Just know that I appreciate your readership and exceptional reviews as always. Thanks for the six stars too. I'm really happy that you enjoyed it.

Hi Dean, I am sorry to hear you were in the hospital. I know people were asking after you in the forum. I hope all is well. Take care of yourself so you can be around to write and scare us for many years.

What a creepy way to start my morning. Yikes!! This is why I live in the deep South where there are no basements. I grew up in Cincinnati and we had a cold , damp basement. and it was creepy. Your pictures tell the story themselves without words. Another great addition to the book.

Out of the mouths of babes often comes the truth. Out of putrid cellars comes a maniacal Kellar, apparently. That childish lisp added a touch of color to this tiny tale. And, Ozzy added depth to the deaths.

Your little tale of terror is nothing to sneeze at, either. Good thing I live in an apartment with no cellar, especially in view of the recently escaped convicts in New York. As for your writing, it's perfect, as always. Evi
