Dear Amada,

This was different but so beautiful.
That inner child reappears when we least expect it,
but we must have fun with it. I don't thin we forget
how to be children.
It was a pleasure to read your lovely poem dear friend.

Your poem is a stellar piece of art! How clever to use the letters as a math equation. I remember having some of those very thoughts as a child, about fearing that I would lose my fun and turn into a grumpy grown-up, lose my imagination and not be able to relate to my kids. Thank God that didn't happen:) I love how you describe yourself as a word collector and are creating a legacy for your grand and great grand children! They will appreciate your collection!

Such a unique, beautiful take on nurturing the child within. Your equations ring with truth and I love " Let the question live before she outgrown the answer. And your answer is so stunning, Sun a ball, sea a net- catch and throw. Magic and a magical poem. I highly suggest the movie " Tree of Life". So magical and beautiful it had me crying like a baby.

I just watched the Tree of Life video. Wow, one of my fave actors is in, Sean Penn. Today is my birthday, hubby will have to find it for me! Thank you for reading my work in the magic of living. :-)

This certainly is different. I like the algibra effect in formulas.
Yes, important we do not forget the child in us...and at times , I definitely bring it to the fore.

Good luck in the competition, my friend.
Have a good day.

Good Morning, Amada,

Your free verse poem captures the reader's imagination as he reads the questions and observations you pose. I like the metaphor of the child observing, asking and thinking. I found it interesting how you've converted the thought at the end of four stanzas to read as a mathematical equation. I think this further helps slow down the reader so he/she can ponder the meaning of your lines.

I do have a suggestion for you to consider. In the third example, "Questions + Answers + Faith + Disbeliefs = Uncomfortable Human",
you did not break it down into an abbreviated formula. For the sake of consistency, I would suggest you consider doing so.

Good luck to you in the contest.
Ray

Outstanding and very different.
Your thoughts about the child's reality are well founded. Adults need to be reminded of the time of day it is in the lives of their children where being young and learning all you can from God's wonderful world around you is the aim.
Just as the child must be protected from danger during T+F = R so too adults are protected by their Heavenly Father during Q+A = FB Faith Building

I found this to be a very cool and imaginative poem. I liked the inclusion of a sort of mathematical formula for being a child. It would be really cool if you brought it all together in the end with one grand formula. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for reading my work and for the challenge to the grand final formula, something like childhood = magic. But then, for some children is not. So many variables! What do you say...

I like your idea. You are the mastermind on this one :)
